Invite and manage teammates in workspaces

Teammates are users within an account who handle specific tasks to improve collaboration and streamline operations. Share your Webex Interact account with your team by inviting them as teammates. By inviting teammates, you can assign roles and manage access, ensuring each teammate has the appropriate level of permissions.

Webex Interact offers three key roles:

• Owner (Full access) – The account holder with complete control of teammate management, account features, and payments.
• Administrator – Manage day-to-day operations and oversee teammates, ensuring the team runs smoothly. Access to all platform features, controls, and most pages but can only view billing and purchases.
• Marketer – Focuses exclusively on marketing tasks such as campaign and list management. Cannot manage teammates, or access payment features.

In the context of workspaces, you can invite new teammates or add existing teammates to a workspace. A single teammate can be added to multiple workspaces at the same time and will retain the same role in each workspace. Depending on the access level of a teammate, they can perform actions within assigned workspaces ONLY like adding contact lists, sending campaigns and exporting reports.

• When you invite a new teammate, they will get an email to join your organisation on Webex Interact (for detailed flow, check this).
• When you invite an existing teammate, they are added to the workspace and can access the workspace immediately. If there's any trouble, try logging out and signing in again.

You can invite teammates either during workspace creation or later using "manage teammates" against a workspace from the workspaces page using the kebab menu option or by clicking on the teammate count column.

A teammate can ONLY view and access the workspaces they have access to (within workspaces page and dropdown).
